Mandie, a native of Dallas, Texas, is Synthetic Human’s casting director and unit production manager. She’s also quick to assist in many other capacities from extra to set dresser to boom operator. She first worked with Stephen Krystek (the actor) during production of the music video The Bad Guy for the notorious Phoenix hardcore band, The North Side Kings. Stephen was quick to pull her on board for film projects with Synthetic Human, beginning with Not Quite Dead. Her other credits include work as an writer and actor with Arizona State University’s Moondance Theatre Expo in The Girl in the Boat: a Feminist Manifesto, and as a director at the MCC Directors’ Showcase of Edward Albee’s The Zoo Story and her original script The Color Green.
