Daniel Shurtliff (a.k.a., Daniel S. Kim) is an Arizona filmmaker with experience both behind and in front of the camera. Daniel has acted as a principal in Cantaburry Productions’, S.I.S., that appeared on Spike Television, also providing him a stunt credit. He performed in seven episodes of Lionsgate Entertainment’s, Hidden Palms, also gaining him a stunt credit.
Daniel’s experience in journalism was gained while working as a key public figure/representative for the national television network, CW, in Phoenix AZ as part of the CW6 Sixpak. With the CW Network, Daniel starred in many television commercials, hosted live events, and interviewed many Hollywood celebrities as a CNN affiliate via CW6’s sister station KTKV.
During the 2008 Superbowl Extravaganza, Daniel also acted as primary camera operator during the times when other SixPak members were acting as journalists. And recently, Daniel has produced, directed, and operated cameras for a music video that will appear on MTV in February of 2011.
Daniel first joined the Synthetic Human family in 2007 during production of their breakout film Drain as a stunt coordinator. He gripped on the films Her Special Day and Being Nigel. Most recently in 2010 Daniel Starred as Sebastian in the award-winning film Contingency.
